Track & Field Begins Competition at #A10OTF Championship

Fairfax, Va. – (May 2, 2026) – The Fordham track & field team opened competition on Saturday at the 2026 Atlantic 10 Outdoor Track & Field Championship, which is being held at George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia. WOMEN’S CHAMPIONSHIP After day one of the women’s championship, Fordham is in 12th place with 2.33 points, as only five events were scored. The sixth scoring event, the 3,000-meter steeplechase, was postponed until Sunday. The Rams scored in two of the five completed events, beginning with Michaela Gier tying for eighth in the pole vault, clearing a season-best height of 11′ 3″.…
