Early Lead Not Enough as McMurry Bows Out of SCAC Tournament

CLEBURNE, TX – The McMurry War Hawks faced off against LeTourneau on May 3 in an SCAC Tournament elimination game at La Moderna Field in Cleburne, Texas. The final score was 9-7 in favor of LeTourneau. Both teams remained scoreless through the first two innings of play. McMurry struck first with a massive top of the third inning. With the bases loaded, Collin Bruning was hit by a pitch, bringing Beckham Paul across the plate for the first run of the game.
