CANYON, Texas – West Texas A&M freshman Mia Hammerschmid sits ninth on the individual leaderboard following the opening day of the 2026 NCAA Division II West Regional Championships at Pueblo Country Club (Par 71 – 5,923 Yards) in Pueblo, Colorado. Due to impending weather in the Pueblo area on Tuesday and Wednesday, the regional attempted to complete the first two rounds on Monday.
