Three Owls Earn Conference USA Athlete of the Week Honors

By: Hunter McKay DALLAS — A trio of Kennesaw State track and field athletes collected Conference USA Athlete of the Week honors, the league announced Tuesday. Kenyatta Bennett was named Conference USA Men's Field Athlete of the Week after finishing second in the high jump at the Torrin Lawrence Memorial with a personal-best clearance of 2.17m (7'1.5"). He defeated jumpers from Georgia, Alabama and Georgia Tech, among others, in the event.
