UIC Athletics Posts Another Exceptional NCAA Academic Progress Rate Score

CHICAGO (May 5, 2026) – The UIC Department of Intercollegiate Athletics continues to set the standard for academic achievement, as the Flames posted a multi-year NCAA Academic Progress Rate (APR) score of 992, the second-highest mark in program history, as announced Tuesday. UIC’s department-wide success was highlighted by six programs — men’s cross country, men’s tennis, men’s track & field, women’s golf, women’s tennis and volleyball — earning NCAA Public Recognition Awards for achieving perfect multi-year APR scores of 1,000.
