Vikings’ Season Ends with Loss to Montana at Big Sky Tournament

POCATELLO, Idaho — The Portland State softball team's season came to an end Tuesday with a 9-3 loss to Montana in an elimination game on the second day of the 2026 Big Sky Tournament at Direct Communications Field. The Vikings, who entered the tournament as the No. 6 seed for the first time since 2016, finished the season 14-32 overall.
