Whitworth set to host NWC baseball tournament

SPOKANE, Wash. –Whitworth University will host an abbreviated Northwest Conference baseball tournament on Friday, May 8th at Merkel Field.The top-seeded Pirates take on 4th-seeded Puget Sound in one semifinal at 12:30 pm.Second-seeded Linfield battles 3rd-seeded Lewis & Clark in the first semifinal at 9:30 am.The winners will meet for the championship at 3:30 pm.
