Cards Earn NCAA Regional Bid to Athens

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The University of Louisville men’s golf team was selected as the No. 6 seed at the NCAA Athens Regional (Athens, Ga.) which will be played at the University of Georgia Golf Course on May 18-20, the Golf Channel and NCAA announced Wednesday afternoon. The Cardinals were one of 52 at-large bids combined with 29 automatic qualifies to qualify for the six regionals. The top five teams and the low individual not on those teams from each regional will advance to the finals. UofL is making its eighth consecutive regional appearance and 16th overall trip in school history.…
