Douglas King announced as new Wi-Hi boys basketball coach

Wicomico High School announced on Wednesday, May 6, that Douglas King will be the new head coach of its boys basketball team. King will take over after longtime head coach Butch Waller, who stepped down following the 2025-26 season after coaching the team for 60 years. A Wi-Hi alum, King played for the school from 1994-97 and was named the Bayside South Player of the Year as a senior.
