Mona Shores drops narrow league baseball decision to Jenison

LocalSportsJournal.com Mona Shores dropped a low-scoring baseball game, 2-1, to Jenison on Thursday. JP Charron suffered the loss on the mound, allowing one earned run on two hits in 5-plus innings of work. The Sailors, who outhit Jenison 5-2, were paced by Max Silva with two hits and an RBI, while Jayden Ammeraal had a triple and a run scored. Mona Shores is now 12-8 overall, 6-6 in league play. The Sailors will travel to Grand Valley State University on Friday to play Zeeland East.
