Gregory Wins Big West Decathlon Title As Beach Finishes Strong In Irvine

IRVINE, Calif. -- Ryan Gregory captured the Big West decathlon championship Saturday at Anteater Stadium, leading Long Beach State to a strong finish at the Big West Multis Championships. Gregory finished first overall with 7,816 points, the second-best mark in program history behind his own school record of 7,898 set last season. Milo Orona placed fourth with 6,881 points after two days of competition. Gregory opened the final day with a first-place finish in the 110-meter hurdles, running 14.76 to earn 879 points.
