Softball Drops Extra Inning Heartbreaker to #2 Delaware State in MEAC Tournament

NORFOLK, Va. – Coppin State's softball team season came to and in 3-2 extra-inning loss to #2 Delaware State in the MEAC Tournament on Friday night at TowneBank Field. The Eagles finish the year at 9-27 overall while the Hornets improved to 28-17. After five scoreless innings to start the game, Delaware State got on the board with a solo home run with two outs in the sixth.
