Panthers Fall to Ferris State in National Tournament
Terry Griffin BIG RAPIDS, Mich. – Drury's season came to an end following a 4-1 loss to Ferris State in the Midwest Regional Two Semifinals on Monday morning in Michigan. Ferris State jumped out to a 1-0 lead after winning the doubles point. The Bulldogs won the first and third lines. Drury's Matthieu Gachon and Chuy Gonzalez were able to win the second doubles line 6-4. The Bulldogs extended their lead on the fourth singles line.
