PC Alum Charlie McDaniel Named Northwest League Pitcher Of The Month

CLINTON, S.C. – Former Presbyterian College pitcher Charlie McDaniel has been named Northwest League Pitcher of the Month in honors announced last week on May 5 by Minor League Baseball. McDaniel had an outstanding month of April on the mound for the Eugene Emeralds, the High-A affiliate of the San Francisco Giants. In April, McDaniel boasted an impressive 1.10 ERA in four starts on the hill for the Emeralds. He posted 18 strikeouts while only walking three across 16.1 innings of work.
