MHSAA softball championship game was suspended after flying termites
An MHSAA softball championship game was suspended due to a termite infestation. During Game 1 of the 1A series between West Union and Sebastopol on May 12, a wave of flying termites invaded the Southern Miss Softball Complex in Hattiesburg, suspending the game at the bottom of the fourth inning around 8:25 p.m. West Union held a 4-0 lead at the time of the suspension.
