Twin Counties Celebrate 17 Champions at NC Track & Field Regionals

Athletes from the Twin Counties shined on the regional stage this past weekend as 17 (10 individuals, seven relay teams) captured championships in the North Carolina High School Athletic Association Track & Field Regionals held Friday and Saturday at various locales within the area. Individuals and relay champions are among the top four finishers who received automatic spots in this week’s state championship meets, which begin today and run through Saturday at North Carolina A&T State University in Greensboro.
