Lashley, Tapia-Melo, Tyer collect SSC baseball honors

ORLANDO, Fla. - Three members of the Lynn University baseball team earned Sunshine State Conference postseason honors, highlighted by junior third baseman Jason Lashley collecting First Team All-SSC recognition, the league office announced Thursday. Joining Lashley on the postseason teams was junior utility player Joel Tapia-Melo, who earned Second Team All-SSC honors, while graduate outfielder Jackson Tyer represented the Fighting Knights on the SSC All-Defensive Team.
