Newaygo trips up Whitehall in both games of non-conference softball doubleheader

LocalSportsJournal.com Newaygo picked up steam throughout a non-conference softball doubleheader against Whitehall on Thursday and won both games. The Lions edged the Vikings 4-2, then exploded in the second game for an 11-1 win. The Lions’ Chloe Clark went seven innings in the circle, allowing six hits, two runs, one of which was earned, one walk and striking out four batters.
