Softball Drops Game One at NCAA Regionals to No. 14 Garnet
SWARTHMORE, Pa. – On Thursday afternoon, the Messiah University softball team fell in game one of the NCAA Regionals, 8-0 in six innings to the fourteenth-ranked Garnet of Swarthmore College. After a scoreless first, the Garnet got on the board first with three runs in the bottom of the second. After two more scoreless innings, the Garnet scored two runs in the fifth and three in the six to earn the run-rule 8-0 win. Brielle Rosario and Josi Tolentino each tallied a hit.
