UOlivet throwers compete at last chance meets

OLIVET, Mich. – Over the last week, a trio of The University of Olivet men’s track & field student-athletes have competed at three different last chance meets in three different states. Last Friday, May 8, the trio traveled to Rock Island, Illinois, for the Augustana College Penultimate Qualifier. After a day off, they stayed in the state of Michigan on Sunday, May 10, for the Grand Valley Last Day Meet. Today, two participated in the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse Final Qualifier. At Augustana, junior Owen Fremeau won the discus throw with a UOlivet record performance at 177 feet, 4 inches.…
