CULLOWHEE, N.C. - The UNC Greensboro (UNCG) baseball team fell to The Southern Conference (SoCon) foe Western Carolina, 4–1, at Hennon Field on Friday afternoon. Jacob Budzik led the way with three hits in the contest. Right-hander Mayson Dear got the nod for the Spartans in game two where he went three innings with six hits allowed and four runs given up.
