Murphy Named to NFCA Great Lakes All-Region Third Team

ROCHESTER, Mich. - Oakland Softball's Maggie Murphy has been named to the 2026 National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Great Lakes All-Region Third Team, as announced by the organization. Murphy put together a standout season for the Golden Grizzlies as Oakland's designated player, earning Horizon League All-League First Team honors in addition to her regional recognition. The graduate student was one of Oakland's top offensive threats throughout the season, batting .455 with a 1.420 OPS.
