No. 7 ThunderWolves Fall 9-0 to No. 2 West Texas in NCAA Action

CANYON, Tex. (May 14, 2026) – The 7-seeded Colorado State University Pueblo softball team opened play in the NCAA South Central Regional on Thursday afternoon, falling 9-0 in five innings to second-seeded West Texas A&M at Schaeffer Park. CSU Pueblo moves to 40-18 overall and will now await its next opponent in the elimination bracket. Due to fires in the Canyon-Amarillo area and poor air quality concerns, Thursday’s second contest between Texas A&M-Kingsville and Angelo State was postponed and rescheduled for Friday at noon.
