Saleah Vivanh-Vong, Jackson Miller voted the Register’s AOTW winners

Des Moines East girls golfer Saleah Vivanh-Vong and Dowling Catholic boys track and field athlete Jackson Miller were voted the Des Moines Register's female and male Athlete of the Week winners from the metro area for the week of May 3-9. Vivanh-Vong won female Athlete of the Week with 57% of the vote. Vivanh-Vong turned in a dominant performance for the Des Moines East girls golf team during the Dragon Invitational on May 4 at the Jester Park Golf Course in Granger.
