Grinnell baseball team sees storybook season draw to a close

GRANVILLE, Ohio – Grinnell College’s baseball team saw its storybook season come to an end Saturday, falling by a 10-4 score to Kalamazoo College in the elimination round of the NCAA Division III Tournament regional. Grinnell, which finished with a 25-18 mark, was making its first-ever NCAA Tourney appearance after posting firsts by winning the Midwest Conference and Midwest Conference Tournament crowns. Grinnell hung right with Kalamazoo for the first half 5.5 innings, trailing 4-3 at that point.
