COLLEGE STAION, Texas—McNeese softball fought until the last out against UConn Saturday in its 5-1 elimination game loss at the NCAA Regional Tournament, ending its season with a 40-22 overall record. UConn's Jessica Walter tossed a one-hitter in the win to improve to 9-8 with the win.
