Whitehurst Takes Fourth in 10K on Day One at Heps
PRINCETON, N.J. – The Yale women's track and field team opened competition at the Ivy League Heptagonal Outdoor Track and Field Championships Saturday at Princeton's Weaver Stadium. Senior Charlotte Whitehurst capped the day with the Bulldogs' best finish, taking fourth in the 10,000m with a time of 35:51.47. She earned four points for the team. With five events scored, defending champion Princeton is in the lead with 56 points. Competition concludes Sunday. Scoring is on a 10-8-6-4-2-1 scale.
