Baseball Leads Against No. 5 Radford Prior to Suspension of Play
ASHEVILLE, N.C. – Longwood baseball took an early lead against No. 5 Radford deep into the night on Wednesday in an elimination game at the Big South Tournament, but the game was suspended due to weather. The Lancers lead 5-0 in the top of the second inning, and the game will resume from that point on Thursday morning at 9:05 a.m. Longwood, the sixth seed, jumped out to a five-run first inning behind back-to-back home runs from Tré Keels and Brogan Jones .
