Program-Best Regional Finish Leads Cards to Sixth All-Time NCAA Championship
ATHENS, Ga. – The University of Louisville men's golf team punched its ticket to the NCAA Championship for just the sixth time in program history, placing second in the NCAA Athens Regional. The Cardinals shot 26-under-par 826 as a team, the lowest regional score in program history. Cooper Claycomb led the charge, posting a career-best 54-hole score of 12-under-par (68+66+67=201). His score of 201 sets the program record for lowest individual score in regional history at Louisville.
