Victoire defeat Charge in Game 4 to win first Walter Cup
The Montreal Victoire have secured their first PWHL title in franchise history. They defeated the Ottawa Charge 4-0 on Wednesday night in Game 4 to win the Walter Cup. Montreal's first two goals were scored by Abby Roque, while Maggie Flaherty netted the third and Lina Ljungblom the fourth. Ann-Renée Desbiens made 23 saves for the shutout victory. The Victoire finished the 2025-26 regular season as the league's No. 1 team with a 16-6-2-6 record for 62 points. They took down the two-time reigning Walter Cup champions, the Minnesota Frost, in five games in the semifinals. More to come.
