Williams Shoots One-Over in Second Round; Makes the 36-Hole Cut

Palm Desert, Calif. – DePauw’s Becky Williams (Sr., Zionsville, Ind./University High School of Indiana) shot a second-round one-over, 73, and is tied for 18th at the NCAA Division III Championships. Williams’ two-round 146 was good enough to make the 36-hole cut. Williams totaled two birdies and 13 pars on the Firecliff Course. Toral Bhatt of Washington & Lee, Jessica Mason of Trinity (Texas) and Jiayl Fu of NYU share the individual lead as each sits at three-under with a 141. Williams gets underway in the third round at 9 a.m. PDT.
