Catapano cards six birdies, shoots three-under in third round

SEWANEE, Tenn. – Freshman Natalie Catapano collected six birdies en route to a three-under 69, moving up 30 spots individually, and senior Jane Stilz carded a four-over 76 for Sewanee on Thursday in the third round of the NCAA Division III Women’s Golf Championships on the Firecliff course at Desert Willow Golf Resort in Palm Desert, Calif. The Tigers remained 13 th among the 15 teams that made the cut with a team score of 318. The Tigers head into Friday’s final round just four strokes behind Randolph-Macon.
