EIU Advances Three To NCAA West Regional

Live Results Eastern Illinois outdoor track and field qualified three athletes for the upcoming NCAA West Regional to be held in Fayetteville, Arkansas next week (May 27-28). Abby Venhaus , Maliek Bush and Shawn Lacy all earned trips to the Regional Championship based on their qualifying marks set during the 2026 outdoor season. Venhaus was the Ohio Valley Conference Champion in the women's long jump and is ranked 34th in the event in the NCAA West Region with a season best mark of 6.28 meters (20'7.25").
