Larkins And Payne Second-Team All-Americans For Cowboys At NCAA Championships

LA CROSSE, Wis. – Hardin-Simmons’ Cowboy outdoor track and field team had two members named second-team All-Americans at the 2026 NCAA Division III championships hosted by UW-La Crosse on Thursday. Jahymeer Larkins finished No. 9 in the discus and Davare Payne placed No. 16 in the long jump for Hardin-Simmons and were both named outdoor track and field second-team All-Americans. Larkins threw 163-2 ft. (49.73m) for the Cowboys to place No. 9 in the NCAA championships. He set the Cowboy record earlier this season in the event and reached the finals in his first year competing in the NCAA championships.…
