Manser competes in long jump at championships

EMPORIA, KS (May 21) – California (PA) sophomore Loreena Manser received All-America Honorable Mention in the long jump on Thursday evening during the opening day of the NCAA Championships. Manser placed No. 20 in the long jump with a distance of 5.60 meters (18-4.5) on her first attempt. She then cleared 5.24 meters (17-2.25 feet) on her next attempt and posted a mark of 5.23 meters (17-2.0 feet) on her final attempt. Manser competed in a field of 22 entries on Thursday in Kansas.
