Nichols Steps Down As Women’s Basketball Head Coach

Lynchburg, Va. — Director of athletics for the University of Lynchburg, Jon Waters , announced on Thursday that Head Women’s Basketball Coach Allison Nichols has stepped down to take the Director position for the Masters of Coaching and Sport Leadership program at Randolph College. “Coach Nichols has worked tirelessly rebuilding our women’s basketball program and has made a tremendous impact on the student-athletes that she has worked with here at Lynchburg,” said Waters. “She will be greatly missed.” Nichols took the helm in 2021 and led the program to a 61-68 record in five seasons.
