Samayoa Named to NCBWA All-America Second Team
5/21/2026 12:42:00 PM SAN MARCOS, Calif. – Zech Samayoa of the Cal State San Marcos baseball team became the first National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) All-American in program history as he was named to the second team on Thursday. Already a busy postseason of accolades for Samayoa, the outgoing redshirt senior set CSUSM single-season records for home runs (23), RBIs (78), total bases (151) and slugging percentage (.868) as the team's designated hitter.
