St. Cyr and Sarney Set To Compete At NCAA East First Round
BOSTON – Northeastern track and field will be represented by freshman Matthew St. Cyr and graduate student Kyle Sarney at the 2026 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships East First Round, held from May 27-30 at the University of Kentucky Outdoor Track and Field Facility. The Walpole, Mass. native, Matthew St. Cyr will represent the Huskies in the javelin. St. Cyr qualified for regionals with a 66.66m mark throw at the UConn Dog Fight and will head into competition in Lexington ranked 30th.
