Weigele Qualifies for 2026 NCAA East First Rounds

STONY BROOK, N.Y. - Stony Brook women's track and field athlete Grace Weigele is officially heading back to the NCAA regionals after qualifying for the 5,000-meter in the NCAA East First Rounds. She will compete in the National Semifinal on Saturday, May 30 at 8:10 p.m. in Lexington, Ky. on the campus of the University of Kentucky. Weigele, who last qualified in 2024, punched her ticket to Kentucky with her 15:57.24 time back on March 27 in the Raleigh Relays. This time ranks third in Stony Brook history.
