Coverson-Springs Advances to Finals at NCAA Nationals; Knuckles Places 12th

EMPORIA, KS - The Claflin University Lady Panthers track & field team returned to action, Friday at the 2026 NCAA Division II Women's Outdoor Track & Field National Championship Meet. Claflin sophomore Morgan Coverson-Springs and junior jumper Jhnyia Knuckles both carried their Claflin pride to the national stage. Coverson-Springs had a great showing on the track. She ran a 13.56 to earn a seventh place finish in the preliminaries of the women's hurdles. With her effort, she earned a spot in the finals of the event, tomorrow.
