Etheridge Earns Championship Berth in 800

EMPORIA, Kan. – Oklahoma Baptist freshman Trista Etheridge won her heat of the 800-meter dash on Friday during the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Championships. With a time of 2:08.33, the fifth-best mark of all participants, Etheridge will move into Saturday's championship race which will take place at 5:25 p.m. OBU's 4x400 team also competed on Friday.
