EMPORIA, Kansas – Kennedy Johnson earned All-American honors at the 2026 NCAA DII Outdoor Track & Field Championships in Emporia, Kan. on Friday evening. The sophomore finished 14 th in the triple jump among the top competitors in Division II, earning the accolade for the first time in their career. Johnson made history before stepping on the track, becoming the first Midwestern State student-athlete to qualify for the NCAA Championships in a field event.
