Postler Makes History as Blugolds Finish Fifth at Outdoor Championships

LA CROSSE, Wis. (www.blugolds.com) — The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire men’s track & field team concluded the 2026 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships on Saturday in La Crosse. The Blugolds finished fifth overall as a team with 34 points as Blake Postler highlighted the final day with a historic performance in the 400 meter hurdles. UW-La Crosse placed first overall in the meet with 106 points. Before May 23, 2026, only one NCAA Division III student athlete clocked a 400 meter hurdle time under 50 seconds.
