Sillaste prevails in NCAA QFs against Feies of Carnegie Mellon
CHATTANOOGA, TN . — Amherst’s Andreas Sillaste won a dramatic NCAA quarterfinal on Sunday at Champions Club and McCallie defeating Carnegie Mellon’s Alex Feies 7–5, 3–6, 6–4 to reach the semifinals. The match started outdoors after a delayed beginning, then moved indoors because of rain as Sillaste survived a tense finish to advance.
