Golden Tigers put up big numbers in classroom

The spring semester brought multiple conference championships to the Tuskegee trophy case. Both the men’s and women’s tennis teams, as well as the women’s outdoor track & field program, won SIAC championships while the softball and men’s basketball teams captured West Division titles as well. But the Golden Tigers were big-time winners in the classroom during the just completed academic term. Of the 12 varsity sports and the cheer team that were considered, all but two programs posted a grade point average over 3.0 and the athletic department submitted a cumulative GPA of 3.25 for the spring semester.
