LIU to Face Georgia in 2026 NCAA D1 College Baseball Regionals

BROOKVILLE, N.Y. – After winning its third NEC Championship in five years, the LIU baseball team will play number-three overall Georgia in the NCAA Tournament. As announced Monday, LIU and host Georgia will face off in the Athens Regional on Friday, May 29 at 7 p.m. Entering postseason play with a 30-20 overall record, the Sharks defeated FDU on Sunday, May 24 to capture their fourth overall NEC title.
