O’Brien Named IWLCA Defender of the Year

BALTIMORE, MD – Reagan O'Brien , the most decorated defender in program history, adds another accolade to an already loaded resume on Tuesday as she was named the 2026 IWLCA Defender of the Year. She is just the second player in program history to earn national Defender of the Year honors and the first since Mary Ann McGuire (1997). O'Brien, a two-time consensus First Team All-American, finished her career as the NCAA's record holder in career caused turnovers (254) and single season (103).
