4 Bears Compete on Opening Day of West Regional

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Four Central Arkansas track and field athletes, Treavor Green, Jaden Schneeberger, Keaton Hansard, and Jeff King competed on the first day of the NCAA West Regional on Wednesday. Green and Schneeberger started the day off for the Bears in the hammer throw event. Green marked at 61.85 meters (202-11), placing 26th in the event. Schneeberger finished just behind in 29th place with a toss of 61.11 meters (200-06). Schneeberger then competed in the shot put, placing 22nd with a mark of 18.17 meters (59-07.5).
