AUGUSTIN ADVANCES BEHIND RECORD-SETTING EFFORT

LEXINGTON, Ky. – VCU freshman Presten Augustin (Palm Gardens, Fla.) set a school record and advanced into the quarterfinal round on the opening day of the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field East First Round Wednesday at the UK Track Complex. Augustin sprinted to the tape in 13.82 seconds in the 110-meter hurdles to eclipse Daiqwaun Faircloth's previous school record of 13.84, set in 2023.
