Benavidez, McCown Earn ABCA All-Region Honors

GREENSOBORO, N.C. – Two student-athletes from UT Dallas were selected to the American Baseball Coaches Association/Rawlings All-South Central Region First Team on Wednesday. Junior outfielder Chris Benavidez and senior outfielder Trent McCown were each honored by the organization. Benavidez, from Bryan, Texas, was the Lone Star Conference Newcomer of the Year, an All-LSC First Team pick and a NCBWA All-South Region First Team selection.
